SmartHome Theater Installation Packages

Choose the package that is right for you based on the number and placement of speakers desired in any room in your home or business. These packages include placing a flat panel television on a wall or a projection television on the floor.

Bronze Package –

Looking for a simple solution to your home theater system hookup? Our bronze package is just what you need. We will connect all your components – including television, receiver, DVD, game console, speakers and more. If you purchased a flat panel television, we will place it on a table top stand and program a universal remote (purchased separately) to consolidate your existing remotes. Doesn’t include mounting of speakers, connection cables or concealment of wires.

Silver Package –

Want to add a couple of wall mounted speakers to your system? Our silver package includes all of the features of the Bronze package, plus two (2) speakers mounted in or on the wall. We will conceal the speaker wires in the wall, under the carpet or under the floor. Floor stands, brackets for wall mounts and connection cables are not included.

Gold Package –

Want the ultimate in surround sound? Our Gold package is the answer. In addition to the features of the Bronze package, this includes up to five speakers mounted in or on the wall. We will conceal the speaker wire in the wall, under the carpet or under the floor. Floor stands, brackets for wall mounts, rough-in kits for speakers and connection cables are not included.

Flat panel televisions

Trying to figure out how to hang your flat panel television on the wall? These packages are the solution. Yes and we can hide the wires and all cables. (Additional charges maybe incurred)

Our Platinum Flat Panel Wall Mount package includes all of the features of the Bronze Flat Panel Wall Mount Package, plus five (5) speakers mounted in or on the wall. Floor stands, brackets for wall mounts and connection cables are not included.

Projection televisions & Projection Screens

Trying to figure out how to make your family room, basement, or any other room the special place. Let us assist you with the design, planning and installment of your projection television. Yes, it is a larger size of television that will be on the floor or on top of a table top stand. But for the price and size it is worth looking into. We can match a great home theater sound system to any projection television you purchase or you can look at one of our packages.

Before you purchase a screen for your home theater, or to use in multiple locations, let’s take a few minutes to narrow down your choices. You also have to decide if you want a projector with features such as HDTV, DLP and the access for multiple screen formats. The right screen will help you get the most out of your projector. Here are basic questions that will help you determine what type of screen is best for your situation:

1. How you going to mount the screen?
2. What screen surface is the best for your room?
3. What shape (or aspect ratio) of screen is appropriate?
4. How large a screen do you need?
5. Are you watching movies or projecting computer images?

The content you display on your screen plays a part in determining which screen is best for you. Gray screen material is popular with home theater enthusiasts because the material adds the appearance of contrast to video movies. White or matte white screens are more popular in business applications where viewing computer images is the norm.
Speaking of surfaces, can’t I just paint my wall white? Yes. You may not get the best image quality when projecting on a painted surface, but, for low cost installations, you can’t beat it. We suggest painting the wall with a grey or white matte “non-glossy” paint mixed especially as screen paint. Ready For Knowledge, Inc. can mix a blend of special paints for you that provide better brightness and colors than standard paints.

Bells, whistles & specialized applications—Want more than just a manual pull-down screen? Just as with cars, you can option out your screen to fit your needs and wants—as long as you’re prepared to spend the money. A number of wall and ceiling mounted screens come with power option, which allows you to lower and raise the screen with the touch of a button. (Some InFocus projectors even include a ‘screen trigger’ connector that allows you to automatically lower the screen when you turn on the projector.) ‘Fixed frame’ screens are permanently tensioned screens that stretched around a metal frame. Fixed frame screens offer the flattest surface, which is optimum for video projection. Additionally, you can purchase materials that allow you to mask the borders of the screen, as well as designer casing to match interior décor. Finally, you can order custom screen sizes to fit nearly any space.

Under the Cabinet LCD Package

Thinking about a small flat panel LCD/TV for your kitchen or bathroom? With our Under-Cabinet Package, we will mount and connect your TV. We will also connect it to a video source by going through an exterior wall and around the house to the source.

Speaker Only Package

Need speakers mounted? This package includes custom in or on-wall mounting of two (2) speakers in the same room or different locations (indoors or outdoors). We will conceal the speaker wires in the wall, under the carpet or under the floor. Floor stands, brackets for wall mounts and connection cables are not included. Speaker packages can be combined with any other package to create a multiroom home theater experience.

Learning/Smart Remote Programming –

Tired of grabbing a remote for the cable box, satellite dish, television, DVD player, CD player and or receiver remote. Let us program a learning remote (purchased separately) to consolidate all your existing remotes.

Are you serious about your home theater sound and picture? Get high grade component, audio and video cable.

Your components can only perform as well as the cables used to connect to them, and we can provide some of the best cables on the market such as Monster Cable, Greenway and others. With high grade cables and wiring you will get the very best in color, the sharpest picture and the best sound.

Plus, what is a great system without surge protection. We can provide surge protection to your entire your home or we can provide surge protection to home theater system. Surge protection will provide protect from lighting strikes, thunderstorm and that occasional construction mishap that could happen near your home. Plus, all of the surge protection devices add a warranty to the equipment that is connected to it.

What if I need additional installation?

We'll give you an estimate before performing any work. Some examples of installations that require additional charges:

Locations with inadequate access to wall, floor, ceiling and/or roof in which wire is to be hidden
External walls containing vapor barrier, insulation, fire stop and/or other obstructions
Speaker wire in excess of the amount specified in the package
Rooms larger than 20' x 20'
Furniture and/or other obstacles that must be moved to reach wiring
Commercial installations
In-wall wiring extending more than 10'
Installation that involves travel outside a 40-mile radius from Manassas, VA.
